I wanted to share the news that my animation 'Hoedown', which is set to the Hoedown from Aaron Copland's 'Rodeo', was screened in Florida on Sunday evening, with live musical accompaniment from the South Shore Symphony Orchestra!
The orchestra's programmer tracked down the animation online and asked if they could screen it as part of their 'Salute to American Music' showcase. They said that the concert was an "outstanding success" and there was near 500 were in attendance.
The concert was filmed so hopefully I'll have some photos and clips to put up soon!
Eleanor, I am an american student, I studied abroad and helped install the degree show work for 2009 and i remembered your animation. I am in grad school now at MICA and my friend was talking about creating figures from books and I showed her this. I just wanted to say congrats for all you have done. Your work is amazing!
